Suggestion: Team Logo Template

The idea is that ML offers several team logo templates at first, where you can add your own text. A team logo template with the added text can be selected to show as the team logo.

Each season new team logo templates are added and eventually there will be enough templates to make (almost) each team logo unique.

 

 

 Suggestion: Player Logo Template

ML offers several player shirt logo templates at first, where you can add your own text. A player shirt template can be selected to show for players in your team that haven't got an uploaded image yet.

Each season new player shirt logo templates are added.

 

 

Team Logo and Player Logo Technical Details

To place text over an image you can use css, like in this example:

You can also use multiple html 5 canvas, to stack images on top of each other, by loading images with transparent areas (png image files for example), like in this tutorial:

Html 5 canvas is supported by the latest versions of most modern browsers. 

 

 

 

Suggestion: max stadium attendance based on division starting Q

 

To help high Q teams, stuck in lower divisions, balance their high wages I would suggest to base the stadium max attendance on the division starting Q.

 

Division 1

Suggestion: additional stadium price input fields for SU, CL and CWC matches

 

Currently a lot of players forget to adjust their ticket prices for CL, SU or CWC matches or forget to change them back for the league match, resulting in lower match income.

I would suggest to add seperate stadium price input fields for international matches during a season where a player's team plays in SU, CL or CWC.

 

 

Suggestion: make throw-in team stat more important

The importance of throw-in could be increased if it would allow flip throws. The flip throw can lead to scoring chances, just like free kicks and corners. The higher your throw in team stat, the more likely a player performs a flip throw.

Also nice if this is combined with a special ability TI, i.e. Throw In, which makes a player have a higher chance of doing flip throws and perhaps do it fast so the opponent's defence might still be out of position.

Counter-attacking could become more important if it also increases the chance of intercepting passes and stealing the ball.

 

 

 

Suggestion: list the top gainers in Player Rankings section

 List the top gainers in the Player Rankings, order by Q gained first, then order on the number of stats gained second.

You could also create categories:

  • top gainer below Q70
  • top gainer Q70 up to Q79
  • top gainer Q80 up to Q89
  • top gainer Q90 and above

 

 

 

Suggestion: player awards for the best gainer for each department

Give an award to the top gainer in each department and an award to the top gainer of the league.

 

 

Suggestion: increase stadium attendance when you have players in your team who perform spectacular actions like bicycle kicks

If you have, for example, 45k stadium capacity and your average attendance is 42k this season, buying an AC acrobat attacker raises your average attendance to 43k.

If you have your attendance maxed on 70k in division 1 and have an AC acrobat attacker in your team, you can raise your ticket prices to 16/300/300  from 15/300/300 without losing attendance.

 

 

Suggestion: weekly manager goals

Offer weekly manager goals where players can earn a small amount of credits, like 2 to a maximum of 5 credits, for completing a goal. Players can chose 3 goals each week from:

  • read a Supercup match report - 2 credits
  • read a Champions League match report - 2 credits
  • win vs a team with higher team Q - 5 credits
  • draw vs a team with at least 2Q higher - 5 credits
  • win 3 matches in a row - 3 credits
  • one of your players scores a hattrick - 3 credits
  • win a player cup - 3 credits
  • rise 3 spots on the league table - 5 credits
  • buy a 17/18 year old special ability player - 2 credits
  • buy a 17/18 year old player with 80 or higher perception - 2 credits
  • buy a 17/18 year old 5 star player - 2 credits
  • have 2 of your players gain +10 or more in a week - 3 credits
  • have 1 of your players gain +15 or more in a week - 3 credits

Note: to stay away from Pay2Win I would suggest that a player can buy one package once per season, or make it a once a season free choice like the Sponsor deal.
